MULTIPLICATION

Goal: You learn to sow the self-replicating DNA of the Kingdom of God into your spiritual family right at the start.

Questions:

• What do these parables have in common?
• Why is maintaining and preserving the status quo actually a step backwards?
• Where do you see other examples of multiplication in the Bible?
• How did Jesus put the “DNA of multiplication” into his disciples?

There are two important principles for multiplying people and whole groups:

1. A reproducing disciple-maker needs people to follow him.
2. A reproducing disciple-maker needs people to train.

[Here I will show you how you can multiply disciple groups in a simple way:

1. Vision: You have already created your vision. Communicate it regularly and create a schedule for when you want to multiply the group.
2. God's presence: Increase God's presence in your meetings. This will lead to a greater hunger among the disciples and word will get around that your meetings are "going wild".
3. Leaders: Train new leaders or disciple-makers who can take over your existing group or start a new group. Of course, you can use this app to help you do this by working through and training someone. The easiest way is to leave your existing group to the new leader. You move on and start a new group. Your new leader should then do the same as you
4. Seek and find disciples: It takes new believers to multiply. Go evangelize together as a group and open up your meeting so that newborn Christians can join.
5. Host: Find a new host who enjoys welcoming a new group into their home.]
