The Bible Study

1. Read the text

Read the Bible text aloud twice. The reader changes after every few verses. Then try to reproduce the text in your own words.

2. Questions about the text

Ask yourselves the following three questions, to which each member of the group gives one answer.

  • What does the text say about God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit)?
  • What does the text say to me personally?
  • What will I do with it or who will I share my insights with? (Here it is important to encourage each other to really say something that can be put into practice)

3. Prayer and Conclusion

Everyone shares what he/she will do in the coming week and where he/she will share the content with someone (e.g. in the family).
At the end, you pray with and for each other in the spirit of the Bible text.

It's great if you write down each other's implementations. Encourage each other by asking how it went after a few days.
