How to start making disciples

 Making disciples - our mission

Because Jesus gave us the Great Commission, we as a church want to personally motivate everyone to make disciples. It doesn't matter how long you have been a Christian, whether you do everything right or how much you know about Jesus.
Making disciples means sharing your faith: Meet regularly with one or two people, tell each other about your faith, read the Bible together and pray together. It's not about being perfect, but about staying on the path with Jesus yourself and accompanying others on this path.
Jesus has given us this mission - let's live it together!

A task for you:
Read Matthew 28 and think about the different tasks Jesus gave his disciples before his death. For example, what instructions did he give them on how to live their lives in the Sermon on the Mount? After his resurrection, he only gave one great commission at the end (Matthew 28:16-20). In many Bibles it is called “The Great Commission”. Why was this commission so important to Jesus?
If it was Jesus' last will for his disciples, do you think this commission should still be relevant to you today? If yes! Are you ready to actively implement it?
